During the last few month I was working on a painting series featuring some of the most inspiring and influential activists of today such as the whistle blower Edward Snowden, the Punk-Rock legend Justin Sane and young environmental activist Greta Thunberg who value their believe and pursuit for justice more highly than their personal gain and profit. Even though I use portraits in this series, in the end it is not important what the featured people at the end look like but what they take a stance for!

One of them is also Shepard Fairey aka OBEY Giant who 30 years ago started his mission of reclaiming the public space with his sociopolitical statements and became probably the most influencial activist of the street art movement.

As appreciation for all the inspiration we've shared with each other as kinded-spirit friends, I want to celebrate his personal 50th "anniversary of dissent" on February 15th 2020 with this release.

A Six-coloured hand-made signed and numbered silkscreen print of this artwork in a limited edition of only 50 pieces will be available via Over Rated Art by February 15th at a random time.
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to an independent social justice movement.
